This message is part of an operation to obtain the release of detained bloggers in Vietnam.

We Are All Vietnamese Bloggers Today, in Vietnam, at least 32 bloggers have been sentenced or are awaiting trial for posting articles online that the regime deems “subversive”. Most are detained under Article 88 of the Criminal Code on “anti-state propaganda” which carries prison terms of up to 20 years.

To denounce these repressive practices, FIDH and VCHR are releasing a report documenting the violations bloggers are victims of. It also presents the arsenal of legal restrictions devised by the regime to stifle any form of dissent.

You can support Vietnamese bloggers in jail by informing your friends and contacts about their plight.

To do so, let’s all tweet on February 19th :
